Module 10

In this module, i discovered there was alot more to wiki's and how they are beneficial, for my own use and for my use in the classroom. i learnt to apply Second Life, Flikr or Mind mapping into blooms taxonomy which will help me in my planning.

Module 9

In this module I learnt about Scootle and how it helps teachers manage and share learning paths. Social networking sites were explored and I leant how to use Twitter! I also had not heard of the site called second life before, so it was interesting to explore the website.

Module 8

In this module I learnt many amazing things that I can do with google reader.
It is very useful as it will save alot of time because now I no longer have to remember internet web addresses, they are all saved on the one site.

Module 7

The module this week was very interesting. I learnt how to save websites so that other people can access them. This is a wonderful resource to have. Dont know if I would have time to use it all the time, but I will definitely try.

Module 6

In this module I learnt how to use bubbl.us to create mind maps. This is a wonderful thing to learn as it will be cery useful in the classroom. You can use mindmaps to create simple or complex thought on ideas. Glogster is another way of expressing yourself online however this is though images. Module 5

What a great module! I learnt how to use Itunes (lucky my daughter is a itunes whizz and had the program on her laptop!) I downloaded a podcast from the ABC, and learnt about podcasts/ vodcasts and the benefits of using these one day in the classroom.
I learnt how to search for relevant videos in Youtube in order to help me explain a topic in the classroom.

Module 4

In this Module I learnt about Creative Commons licences and how they can be used. Creative commons are good becuase they allow a person to put restrictions on other people using their songs/ photos in a way other than what they were created for.
I also learnt how to upload photos to flickr and potentially share the photos with a group. (I dont belong to one yet!)

Module 3

Hi All,
Module 3 was very interesting and I learnt how to make a slideshow in google Docs.
Google docs is handy when I need to share a document with another teacher without haveing to email them. Google docs also automatically saves my document as I am creating it, so I am never worried that it will disappear! Google docs also lets you create a normal word document, spreadsheet or a form. The atomic learning website also came in handy throughout this module as it showed me how to access, save, and share a document with another colleague.

Module 2

I feel that Module 2 has helped me to learn new ways in which to use blogs, (as i have now understood they are called blogs, not glogs!)
Activity 4 showed me other beneficial ways to use blogs in the classroom and how students can use these blogs also in their learning.

The students will enjoy creating their own blogs and open their minds to creativity.
